Gray Team Practice
We are so delighted that you are interested in being part of TEAM NOVA NINJA! Each and every athlete & family is important to us and our program.
Evaluations:
· Evaluations are $65 with Coach Casey and last approximately 30 minutes. No experience is necessary in order to be evaluated. All athletes are placed on teams based on their age and skill abilities (including athletes new to ninja).
· If you participated in the prior season, no evaluation is necessary. Re-evaluations are required if an athlete missed the prior season.
Teams:
Teams are assembled to be competitive and to highlight mastered skills. Skills are developed over time through a combination of learning/mastering skills in competition and training and developing new skills within practice and other gym training times. Athletes may be moved up or down during the season based on progress.
New to the 2021-2022 season: There will be SIX teams this season to provide a smaller practice size.

Saturday/Sunday TBD: Weekend make-up practice / competition team open gym will be available this season on some Saturday’s & Sunday’s, AM & PM.
If your child is unable to attend the practices of the team they are placed on, please let us know. There is flexibility for some athletes between teams and an alternative practice schedule can be discussed.
*Coach Casey will rotate between Wednesday and Friday practice in addition to Monday and weekend competitions.
A practice schedule calendar will be provided at the start of the season and online.
Fees/Financial Commitment for Fall 2021 Season
3 Membership Options Available
Option 1 - Season tuition fee Includes:
· 1 ninja practice per week
· 1 NinjaFit kids class/week
· 5 Visit Punch Pass and 2 Family Ninja Night passes for use from 09/01 through 12/31 (for additional general and specialty classes)
· 5 Visit Punch Pass and 2 Family Ninja Night passes for use from 01/01 through 3/31
· $166/month
Option 2 - Season tuition fee Includes:
· 2 ninja practices per week)
· 1 NinjaFIT Kkds class/week
· 10 Visit Punch Pass and 3 Family Ninja Night passes for use from 09/01 through 12/31 (for additional general and specialty classes)
· 10 Visit Punch Pass and 3 Family Ninja Night passes for use from 01/01 through 3/31
· $250 per month
Option 3 Includes- Season tuition fee Includes:
· Unlimited ninja practices per week
· Unlimited NinjaFIT kids classes/week
· Unlimited punch pass for use through the season for general and specialty classes
· Unlimited Family Ninja Night passes
· $315 per month
Additional punch passes can be purchased at a 50% discount during the season with all options (any unused passes expire at the end of the season)
For options 1 and 2, elected weekly practice(s) are chosen by athlete and family in accordance to preference and schedule. For example, a once weekly member may go to XXX team practice on Monday one week and Thursday the following week.
*Assessments required for new athletes or athletes returning after one year.
*Team placement will be based on age and skill level and may be subject to change during or from season to season.
*Team uniforms (practice shirt and competition shirt) are required and range from $25 - $35.

SEASON TUITION FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
· Individual competition fees (if applicable)
· League registration fees
· Travel fees - It is your responsibility to arrange travel if necessary for events. Competitions at the local and regional level are typically 1-day events and usually do not require any hotels.
UNAA Athlete Registration: $0
The Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA), is the official Global League of World OCR for Ninja Competitions. UNAA promotes and organizes an international series at Ninja Obstacle course Gyms and competitions across the world. The UNAA World Series includes Area Qualifiers, Regional Qualifiers and the Ultimate Ninja World Championship Finals each year.
The UNAA World Series is composed of judged competitions based on performance and time. For more information on the league, visit ultimateninja.net
Season runs September 1 to July 31st. Each Season concludes after UNAA World Finals.
New to 2021: You no longer need to register yearly with UNAA to qualify for regionals/worlds. Registration is now included with each ticket purchase ($10/event go towards to UNAA). This means that every athlete that competes in a sanctioned UNAA event will be eligible to advance to regionals.
NoVa Ninja will be hosting the 2021-2022 regionals for Virginia in addition to 3 local qualifiers.
NNL Athlete Registration: $0
Step 1. Create your own NinjaWorks Athlete ID by visiting NinjaWorks, where you can create an account and then an Athlete Profile. If you ever forget your Athlete ID, you can log into your NinjaWorks account from Step 1 to see it there.
Step 2. Sign the NNL Waiver, providing your six-digit NinjaWorks Athlete ID as part of the waiver.
Step 3. Register for one or more competitions at the respective facilities' web sites, providing your six digit NinjaWorks Athlete ID as part of your registration (and if you ever forget your Athlete ID, you can log into your NinjaWorks account from Step 1 and see it there).

· Practice Shirt (required) - $35/shirt

· Additional items available for purchase: Additional practice and competition shirts, sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt, family shirts, etc.
· Recommended Shoes New Balance Zante Fresh Foam (optional) - $65 (approximately)
All team members are required to wear their team practice shirt to every practice and competition jersey at all ninja events.

Cancellation Policy
Tuition is per season and can be paid in monthly instalments or in full at the start of the season (10% discount).
Without exception, no refund will be granted for evaluation fees, uniform fees, and/or remaining season tuition fees, as all are deemed non-refundable. For season tuition fees, NoVa Ninja will accept written requests (info@novaninja.com) for a refund exception only in the following circumstances:
Season Ending Injury: An injury will be considered “season ending” when a licensed physician determines that due to an injury a player cannot participate in the remainder of the on-going season and/or the up-coming season. The physician’s determination of a season ending injury must be in writing and addressed directly to NoVa Ninja or otherwise subject to verification.
Players’ Voluntary Cancelation: If a player voluntarily cancels or withdraws from participation with Team NoVa Ninja for any reason, they are not eligible for a refund or credit and the remaining season balance will be due as scheduled on the payments dates. Voluntary cancelations would include cancelations unrelated to a season ending injury and may include all personal reasons such as moving, or other family events which may prevent the player from participating.
